FORCE STABILIZATION TALKING POINTS

FORCE STABILIZATION TALKING POINTS

High retention and recruiting combined with issues related to our national economy means we have more active-duty Sailors than our authorized end-strength. This gives us the opportunity to stabilize the force, while adhering to the following principles:
We will retain our best Sailors, maintaining a balanced force in terms of seniority, skills, and experience.
We will focus on performance.
We will provide performance-based opportunities and support the personal and professional goals of our sailors, as well as safeguard the careers of our top performers.
· We will continue to attract and recruit our nation’s best and brightest.
· We will promote stability and predictability in our manning policies.
· We will be a "top 50" employer.
